Your cargo as our own
Every load is handled with the care we'd want for our own goods — from a single envelope to an 18-tonne machine.
Our story
Frisby Couriers has been family-run since 1978. The vehicles have changed; the standard hasn't — your cargo handled as if it were our own, and a job never turned away for being awkward.
Since 1978
Frisby Couriers was founded in 1978 by the grandfather of our current managing director, Steve Frisby. What began as one man determined to get things delivered properly has grown into a trusted same-day operation — but it's still the same family, and still the same way of working.
Three generations on, Steve runs the business on the principles he was raised with: answer the phone, tell people the truth about timing, and treat every consignment as if it mattered as much to us as it does to the customer. That's why blue-chip names and small local firms alike keep our number to hand.
48 years in, the test is still simple — would we be happy if this were our own cargo on the back of that lorry?
Family-runWhat we stand for
Every load is handled with the care we'd want for our own goods — from a single envelope to an 18-tonne machine.
We give you the real ETA before you commit, not the one you'd like to hear. A promise made is a promise kept.
Difficult access, odd hours, unusual loads — we'll find a way rather than turn the job away.
The fleetVehicles & technology
Our vehicles range from small vans to 18-tonne rigids fitted with tail lifts and cranes, so we can match the right vehicle to your load instead of forcing it to fit. Every vehicle carries computer-linked telematics, giving you accurate progress and ETAs from collection to delivery.
Old-fashioned service, current technology — that's the balance we aim for. People who care answer the phone; the kit behind them makes sure we can prove where your delivery is at any moment.
Give us a tricky one. We've been getting it there since 1978.
