Privacy policy
We keep this simple and honest: we only collect what we need to quote and carry out your delivery, and we look after it.
Who we are
Frisby Couriers Ltd ("we", "us") is a family-run courier and warehousing business based at Unit 2 Building 6, Stanmore Industrial Estate, Bridgnorth, Shropshire, WV15 5HR. For any privacy matter you can contact us on 01746 763172 or steve@frisbycouriers.com.
What we collect
When you contact us or request a quote, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, company, phone number, email address, collection and delivery postcodes, and information about the goods and timing. When you call or email us directly, we hold the contact details and information you provide in order to arrange your job.
How we use it
We use your information solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quotation, carry out and invoice the work, and keep records required for running the business and meeting our legal obligations. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Lawful basis
We process your data to take steps at your request before entering into a contract and to perform that contract, and where relevant to meet legal obligations and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the business.
Sharing
We share information only where necessary to deliver your service — for example with the driver assigned to your job, or with customs authorities where a consignment to or from Ireland or Europe requires it. Our website contact and quote forms are processed by a third-party form provider; an embedded Google map is served by Google. We do not otherwise pass your details to third parties.
Retention
We keep enquiry and job records only as long as needed for the purposes above and to comply with legal and accounting requirements, after which they are securely deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, and in certain circumstances to have it erased or its use restricted. To make a request, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This site uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The only third-party content that may set cookies is the embedded Google map on our Contact page; you can decline these in your browser without affecting the rest of the site.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always appears on this page.
